There are more than two hundred countries in the world that have their history, culture, and interesting facts. But among these all, this article is about the South Asian country Nepal. Its official name is the federal democratic republic of Nepal, which is situated in South Asia between two big countries, India and China. It is surrounded by China in the north and by India in the east, west, and south. So, it is not touched by the sea, hence it is a landlocked country. The people of Nepal are known as Nepali. The capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu, the city of temples. And Nepali language is the main language of Nepal.

 More than 125 casts of people are lived in Nepal, and each cast has its own unique social and cultural values and beliefs. All these things make Nepal culturally rich. The majority of people of Nepal are Hindu. So, the Cow is the National animal of Nepal and is worshiped as a goddess of the "Lakshmi" (goddess of money). Beef consumption is not allowed, but supplies it secretly. However, Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, and other societies of people are also found in Nepal.

 It is believed that Nepal is the oldest sovereign country in South Asia. Nepal is an independent Country all the time. It has never been ruled by any superpower country in the world. Culturally and naturally, Nepal is very rich. Geographically, it is at the North Pole of the earth and covers 147,181 square kilometers of surface area. It covers 0.03% of the land of the world and 0.3%  of the Asia continent. Its map is rectangular, which is almost similar to the map of Portugal on the world map when it is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. The time of Nepal is 5 hours and 45 minutes earlier than the Greenwich time.

 It is not so big in surface area but, has many things that other countries may have. It is the Amazon of Asia where we can get the amazing feeling of natural things such as evergreen forests, extreme water resources, mountains with high altitudes, a peaceful environment, and many more. It is rich in biodiversity but at the same time, it is also rich in cultural aspects.

 The total population of Nepal is about 30 million. About 80% of people are engaged in agriculture in Nepal. Apart from that remittance, tourism, business or trade are the major income sources in Nepal. About 3 million youths are out of the nation for foreign employment. They export carpets, beverages, textiles, green tea, plastics, etc. to other countries like India, Bangladesh, the US, and Germany. The Exciting facts about Nepal are as follows:-

 The unique Triangular Flag makes Nepal different from the others. All the countries have their rectangular flag, but Nepal is the only country in the world that has a triangular flag. It has a smaller triangular shape containing a half-moon in white color at top and other bigger triangles attached with the first one which contains the Sun in white color and the border of the flag is designed with blue color, that represents the peace. The sun and moon in the flag denote that "until and unless the Sun and moon exist, Nepal will remain till then". And red color in the flag denotes the bravery and unity of the Nepali people. 

3)Birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha

 Lumbini Nepal is the place where the Lord Buddha was born about 2500 years ago. He was born into a royal family but, one day when he saw the dead body taken for the funerals, and an old man crying for food, he hit his mind and went for searching peace. When he found the right path that should be followed in life, he told this fact to all. He had said, "Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth". Many people in the world follow Buddha just because of his message of truth and peace. We feel proud to be Nepali where the god was born and distributed the message of peace to the world.
