Reminiscing some old memories can be painful sometimes...
Sitting in an armchair on a hefty summer afternoon, Jack tries to forget the bitter past of his life. Living in an isolated house, in the outskirts of the city, he could find no rays of hope from his life. With an uninteresting house, a pale life and with his negative thoughts, he got up from his armchair and stood in front of his woman's grave; pleading to forgive him for what he did to her. No doubt, the regret should have developed long before, but it is his adamant and incorrigible attitude that he realized his guilt only on the 7th death anniversary of his wife. But you cannot blame a person having Schizoid personality disorder, right? Yes, this is what the doctor told him when he was 13, and has killed his best friend for a small matter.
After that day, he along with his parents moved to a new city with a new identity, burning out every detail of the past. Things began to go well now. Jack tried his level best to control his insensitive action, and his parents were pretty successful in covering up their identities. Though everything was just a drama to hide their true self, but what's wrong with it if they are gaining a better life than before!!?
Time passed by. Jack grew up, and along with him grew up his agitation to do crime. He committed a number of crimes, but neither he developed any sense of regret for his actions, nor he was ever spotted for his crimes.
For such people, love is simply an accident which rarely happens. Ironically, this man too had a similar accident, and ended up giving his heart to a detective woman. The woman, Clara, was in deep love with this not-so gentle man, Jack. Without knowing the true identity of Jack, she held hands with him, and decided to live together, forever.
Even after marriage, Jack refused to showcase his identity, and always tried to act like an ideal husband. A year passed by, and this couple was gifted with a beautiful baby girl. Life seemed to change for the couple as both of them began to spent happy times with their daughter. But behind these happy memories, some dark secrets were hidden which still had some time to pop out.
Once, on a very casual afternoon, the phone on Clara's table rang. It was detective Dan from another city. He was in search of an underground culprit called Jason, who has altogether changed his identity and is currently living in Amsterdam, where Clara is living. Clara immediately decided to handle the case and deployed 20 of her cops to search for this man across the city. The major problem of this case was that there was no proper photo of this culprit, as he was an underground criminal. Only one of his childhood photo was detected in the police station; which was clicked while he was once arrested for killing his friend at 13. Clara was in deep thoughts as to how to resolve the case with a photo clicked at the age of 13. She came in touch with various investigating agencies, and also joined hands with the common people like vendors, shopkeepers etc. to keep in track of where he is moving.
After six months of constant investigation, a heart throbbing information hit Clara's office. It was found that the culprit was living with his new name as 'Jack' in Amsterdam. Clara was shocked for a moment and her heart beats fasten. But soon after, she consoled her inner voice by saying that there are thousands of 'Jack's' in Amsterdam, and it not necessarily has to be her husband to be set as the one. So, she stopped worrying about this issue and kept on working.
The next day, the secret investigating organization informed Clara that Jack was on his way to Bung low no.-5 at P- road to commit another crime. Clara immediately called up her husband to ask him to go up to the place, as their house was much closer to P- road; but he hung up. Finding no other way, Clara alone took out her car and rushed to the location. She stepped inside the dark bung low and amidst the moonlight, she saw Jack trying to kill a person.
'Hands up!!', Clara yelled, and the culprit slowly let his hands away from the victim's body, and raised it up. Though Clara's voice seemed quite bold and confident, yet her feet were turning cold and her inner instinct warned her that something disgraceful was about to happen. 'Turn around!!!' was her next command, and he turned up. Both Clara and Jack stared at each other, Clara's face turning pale. Her eyes got softened, and her lips went dry. Tears rolled down from her cheeks. She fell on her knees, her gun slipped out from her hand and she began sobbing as she was left with nothing else. The' Jack' that Clara marked as a culprit for so long was actually her loved one!!!
Looking at Clara's condition, Jack was freaked out; he was nervous as well as tensed. He ran near her, picked up the gun from there, and pointed it towards Clara's forehead.
Clara looked above at his eyes; but his eyes lacked emotions. Soon after, the gun was triggered and Clara fell off to the ground, laying senseless. Silences were heard across Amsterdam; police, secret agents and ambulances arrived in the scenario. But nothing good happened. Jack eloped and Clara died.
While recollecting these old memories, Jack quite forgot about the last three words that Clara had for him. The phase 'I love you' expresses the divine feeling of love for one another, but these words do not lie in the dictionary of some insensitive people like Jack, who couldn't even understand what she was saying at her deathbed.
Now, after seven years of her death, Jack is finally regretting for what he did. He put some flowers in front of her grave, and prayed for her eternal peace. Clara's graveyard was just 500 m away from his house. While returning, he met with an accident and was declared 'spot dead'.
It seemed that destiny was not written for the people, but by the people. The actions that Jack did justified what he deserved. It might take a year, it might take a day. But what's meant to be will always find its way...
