The Philippines- the latest update about NEW Philippine ARRIVING PROTOCOLS TO ALL INBOUND PASSENGERS Only ‼️
Philippine health authorities have revised entry protocols and expanded the list of "Red" countries in a bid to further protect our country's borders against COVID-19 and its variants, effective until December 15, 2021:
* UNIFORM ARRIVAL PROTOCOLS FOR BOTH GREEN AND YELLOW COUNTRIES/REGIONS
Eligible travelers to the Philippines from countries or regions on the "Green" list will now be subjected to the SAME quarantine and testing protocols that apply to arrivals from countries in the "Yellow" list classification.
The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases announced today that, "Except for countries classified as “Red,” the testing and quarantine protocols for all inbound international travelers in all ports of entry shall comply with the testing and quarantine protocols for “Yellow” list countries."
The Inter-Agency Task Force also clarified that travelers from Hong Kong shall comply with such protocols for 'Yellow' countries/regions.
*OVERSEAS FILIPINOS/Filipino workers/ ELIGIBLE FOREIGNERS ARRIVING FROM GREEN AND YELLOW COUNTRIES MUST TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:
* For fully vaccinated travelers:
With a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to departure:
- Facility based quarantine until release of negative results
- 3rd day swabbing
- Self-monitoring until 14th day from arrival
* Without a negative RT-PCR test:
- Facility based quarantine until release of negative results
- 5th day swabbing
- Home quarantine until the 10th day from arrival
* For travelers who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated or whose vaccination status cannot be independently validated:
- Facility based quarantine until release of negative results
- 7th day swabbing
- Home quarantine until the 14th day from arrival
* EXPANDED LIST OF RED COUNTRIES
The revised Red List now includes: South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini and Mozambique, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium and Italy.
Inbound international travel shall not be allowed, except for Filipino nationals coming from or who have been to Red List countries/regions within the last 14 days prior to arrival to any port of the Philippines.
Only Filipinos returning to the country via government-initiated or non-government-initiated repatriation and dual citizen Flights may be allowed entry subject to the prevailing entry, testing, and quarantine protocols for Red List countries -- facility-based quarantine for 14 days with testing on the 7th day, with day 1 being the date of arrival, notwithstanding a negative RT-PCR result.
* SUSPENSION OF Inter-Agency Task Force.150-A
The Inter-Agency Task Force has suspended the entry of fully vaccinated foreign tourists of non-visa required countries from Green List countries/regions.
Philippine Airlines operates flights to the following Green list countries/regions: Indonesia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
NOTE: Passengers already in transit and all those who have been to the red countries/territories within fourteen (14) days immediately preceding arrival in the Philippines, who arrive before 12:01 AM of November 30, 2021, shall not be subject to this restriction from entry, but shall nevertheless be required to undergo facility-based quarantine for fourteen (14) days with testing on the seventh 7th day, with day 1 being the date of arrival.
