The International Cricket Council has named the top five men's ODI batsmen in the world.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) now has 12 full-time members: India, Pakistan, England, South Africa, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Ireland, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Zimbabwe. It's difficult to identify the Top 10 ODI Batsmen in the World in 2022 from so many teams.

The ICC, on the other hand, selects the top ten players in each category each year based on their recent performance. Today, though, we'll look at the top ten men's ODI batsmen in the world as of 2022.

These rankings alter over time, based on how well a player performs in One Day International (ODI) matches and how many matches he plays.

The player is ranked out of 1000 points and is mostly assessed based on the number of runs he scores during the match.

5. Aaron Finch

Aaron Finch is another Australian batter on the list, ranking ninth among the top ten ODI batsmen in the world. He is the Australian cricket team's first batsman and serves as the team's captain in the limited-overs format.

Aaron Finch's full name is Aaron James Finch, and he was born on November 17, 1986, in Colac, Victoria, Australia. He made his ODI debut in 2013 at the age of 27 against Sri Lanka, scoring 16 runs. Nonetheless, this isn't the highlight of his career.

In T20I, he has the most notable individual score of 172, as well as the most remarkable run scored by any opener and captain. In addition, he shattered the 156-run record held by no other player but himself. Recently, he and David Warner made a record for the most notable opening partnership with 285 runs against India.

4. Ross Taylor

Ross Taylor is a middle-order batsman for the New Zealand cricket team. He has previously led the New Zealand cricket team as captain. His full name is Luteru Ross Poutao Taylor, and he was born on March 8, 1984, in Lower Hutt, Wellington. He is ranked fourth among the world's top 10 ODI hitters.

Making his ODI debut in 2006 at the age of 22, he only managed to score 15 runs, but in his third ODI encounter, he scored 128* against Sri Lanka. He is also one of only a few players on the earth to have achieved a double century in Test cricket.

He has participated in four ICC World Cups: 2007, 2011, 2015, and 2019. In addition, Ross Taylor is the first New Zealander to have centuries against all Test-playing nations in the ODI format. Not only that, but he is only the fourth player in-game history to hit a century on his birthday.

3. Rohit Sharma

Another Indian player on the list is Rohit Sharma, who is the Indian cricket team's opener and Vice-Captain. His full name is Rohit Gurunath Sharma, and he was born on April 30, 1987, in Nagpur.

He began his career when he was 20 years old, and he is presently ranked second among the top ten ODI batters in the world.

Rohit Sharma holds the global record for the most runs scored in an ODI match with 264 runs. He has the most double centuries in the ODI format of any cricketer in the world, with three.

2. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is the India captain, and he is presently ranked first in the ICC ODI player rankings for 2022. As a top-order batsman, he makes a lot of runs for the team and prefers pursuing a target than putting up a score to be pursued by the other side.

Born November 5, 1988, in Delhi, he began playing in 2008, at the age of 19, and is presently ranked 869/1000 by ICC.

He is the fastest person on the planet to achieve 11,000 ODI runs, much quicker than Sachin Tendulkar. He has won the ICC One-Day International Player of the Year title three times — in 2012, 2017, and 2018.

1. Babar Azam

Babar Azam, a Pakistani cricketer, has already been attracting attention. He is the best batsman who served as the T20 Captain & Vice-Captain of Pakistani cricket. He made his ODI debut just at the young age of twenty in 2015, and during the 2019 World Cup in England, he became Pakistan's best run-scorer.

He was named the PCB's ODI Star of the Year for 2017 after becoming the first player of all time to record five straight centuries in the same nation. He is considered a genius despite being only 25 years old. He is ranked third among the top ten ODI batters in the world.
