A few years later I started selling prepaid phone cards and discovered that people living in the USA were calling families overseas. People were calling in many countries around the world. You know what? People living in the US are still making international calls worth billions of dollars and many mobile network providers are not aware of that.
People living in the United States with racial backgrounds spend money. They spend a lot of money especially on communication. They like the latest phone. They love to talk, text message, download songs, etc.
Since cell phone company executives have to be smarter than I am, it amazes me that there are no major carriers that really deliver international beats. Yes, they can claim to have direct international calls available, but people will not spend 1$ per minute to call the U.K., when they can call with a prepaid call card of less than .05 per minute.
There is only one mobile phone company that offers international direct calls at competitive prices. That company is STi Mobile. STi Mobile parent company STi sells about $ 200 million a year on prepaid calling cards that are widely used for international calls. That's why STi Mobile recognizes the ability to combine cheap international prices with mobile services.
However, STi Mobile has a limited supply of phones, downloads and media. I would love to see the company cover it all. Good prices, competing international direct dialing phones, great phones, and great additions. That would be great.
