The believer who seeks to harmonize social renaissance with the sense of security provided by the Christian vision has a collective responsibility to recreate what has fallen into disrepair. The time has come for the church to be prepared for the devastation of God's commandments. The Christian mission of purifying the existing rather than 'building a new society must be duly fulfilled.
The insight gained here by analyzing the different perspectives and life reflections of the two persons chosen by God should become conducive to self-examination and submission.
Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah - "The one who regenerates the ruined."
Today's challenge is to do God's will from the available circumstances. Nehemiah challenges us to a place where a man who is dissatisfied with inconveniences refuses to explore the possibilities that are permissible for him. When the courageous one expresses his desire, even at the risk of losing his life; even the king's command passes before the cupbearer. Here Nehemiah is assured of the same divine power that compelled Abraham to embark on an adventurous journey into the unknown, as he sought to adapt to adverse circumstances and to carry out his divine mission in a sense of God; The pain of seeing the gates of the city of God Jerusalem burning and the walls crumbling, as well as the firm determination of the control of the Holy Spirit, gave impetus to the resurrection of a nation.
The call for “Let’s rebuild” will only be relevant and I will be able to uphold it only if I can identify with my identity and the possibilities through which they can be utilized for the betterment of me and my community. To pass on the divine vision available through Christ to generations; May we be able to recreate a just and compassionate society through it. Let's get up ......... listen to the cry of the downtrodden. Let's build .......... Let's recreate the broken ones.
Uzziah, son of Amaziah - "The one who shattered the eternal blessing".
The King is called in God's plan for the redemption of God's chosen people by man. Being anointed by God deepens the responsibility. Rather than making the redemption of his people possible through the King, he is entrusted with the responsibility of pleasing Jehovah, walking in His ways, and persuading the people to be self-sacrificing.
When he was anointed King of Jerusalem at the age of sixteen in the thrall of his youth, it was the work of the Holy Spirit that enabled Uzziah to embody his youthful dynamism and rule for 52 years, pleasing to the Lord.
'But when he became strong his heart was puffed up with destruction.' Pride forced him to burn incense to the Lord, which was permissible only to the priests of Aaron, who were consecrated. Uzziah stands as an example of the arrogance of a modern man who spreads intolerance into unauthorized spaces without realizing that the responsibilities entrusted to him are divine. As he built towers, conquered enemies, and conquered kingdoms, evil spirited him. The conviction that his victory was based on the mercy and grace of Almighty God disappeared from him. He forgot about the Creator and brought Vembal to worship his identity. As a result, the ruler of the land was banished and lived as a leper for a long time.
When Nehemiah challenges us to recreate the ruined ones, Uzziah, who has shattered eternal blessings, becomes a question mark before us. While the possibilities of today can be used for the fulfillment of Christian philosophy, the modern man who embraces the forces of darkness and attains self-realization becomes the antithesis of spirituality.
The church's views should be a continuation of the divine rule that began through the Lord. The blind sees, the lame walk, the leper is cleansed, the dead are resurrected, the gospel is preached to the poor ..............
In a polluted world, let's get ready to pass on the Christian philosophy through the ages, not forgetting the old stories. I pray that this gathering in the desert will be worth it.
