1. Bitcoin
Despite its tremendous volatility over the course of its history, Bitcoin (BTC) remains the most popular and precious cryptocurrency. Although Bitcoin was designed to be used as a digital payment system, experts believe it is still too volatile to be utilized for that purpose.
Decentralized Finance
Decentralized finance, in its most basic form, refers to financial transactions carried out without the intervention of a traditional bank.
Consider all of the things you'd ordinarily do with a bank or other financial institution: receiving a loan, buying insurance, investing, and even using a credit card. According to Ollie Leech, learn editor at CoinDesk, “all of these [activities] are traditional-finance based and have middleman companies.” “Now, people are making these items on their own,” says the author.
