Television infused crime

Nowadays extreme violence is shown in many films and TV Serials. Showing violent scenes in a very innovative and unique way is a part of many films and TV Serials. In addition, focusing on a brand-new shining gun in a TV serial or film imparts a huge impact on the viewers and they are attracted much towards such scenes. Things become worse when style is added as a topping on the crime scenes. Such scenes in TV serials command an excellent TRP and thus swell the profits of the director/producer of the TV serials.

This style wrapped usage of weapons in TV serials and films instigates viewers to use the weapons for the sake of style. The repercussions are bad on gullible children because they are unaware of where this style will take them to. For instance in one of the scenes of a movie a person was first tied to a bogie of the train from outside and then the train was allowed to run through a narrow tunnel and thus making the tied man to hit the wall of a tunnel. In another movie it was shown that a person was trained to use a gun in a way that the bullet after being fired from a gun negotiates a turn while in the air and then hits the target.

People will remember nothing but the crime scene in films like the ones mentioned above. Further, this infuses crime in our society. Children and youth try to imitate the styles of a crime scene in real life and thus end up in doing something wrong.

In my opinion, the way of showing crime scenes in TV serials and films should be taken care of. The controlling body should be more proactive and strict so that if some scene demands violence, it should not be shown in a very eye-catchy way. The more focus should be on story of a TV serial and film rather than on the unique ways of doing a crime. I think the makers of such TV serials and films should avoid highlighting such scenes and consider this as their social responsibility. This change can bring if not much but a little downfall in the crimes in our society.
