Tech tips: How to change Google Pay language to Hinglish

 Google has added Chinglish language support to its UPI-based payments app, G Pay. The tech giant announced the Chinglish language support alongside other announcements at the company’s India event a couple of months ago.

  Google Pay now supports a total of 10 different language support including English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, among a few others. Setting up the G Pay account for the Chinglish language is easy. Here’s a step-by-step guide.

 First and foremost, one needs to update the G Pay app to the latest version via Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Once the latest update is installed, follow the steps mentioned below:

 Step 1: Open the G Pay app and click on the profile icon shown in the top right corner of the screen.

 Step 2: Head to the Settings menu

 Step 3: Click on the Personal info option

 Step 4: You will be able to see the Language option

 Step 5: You can simply select the desired option from the list shown on the mobile screen. In this case, click on Chinglish. Once the Setting is changed, the language will be changed to Chinglish. By adding Chinglish support, Google aims to attract more and more users, especially from tier three and four cities, to the platform. Following the same process, users will be able to change the language to any other they want.

   Among the 10 language support, 6 cover different regions. The 6 regional language support offered by Google Pay includes Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, and Tamil.
