Traffic diversions in Chennai
The Chennai traffic police has closed the Medley, Subway in Nagar, which was flooded due to the rains. Meanwhile, a part of Thru Malay Pillar road near the Samara Ill am caved in, forcing authorities for traffic diversions. Vehicles are not permitted towards Valvular Bottom junction from Van, Mahan point, but allowed on the opposite side from Valvular Bottom.

The district administrations of Nirvana Malay, Coimbatore and Tiruppur have declared holiday for all schools in the districts on November 10, due to rain. Similarly, holiday has been declared for all schools and colleges in Nellore, Reinspect and Karen by the respective Collectors today due to intense spell of rain.
