A previously unidentified archaea group lives in Earth's hot springs and hydrothermal vents. And as opposed to similar small individual cell-celled organisms that live in depths of sediments and maze in plant declining, the climate-heating gas methane is not produced, according to scientists in the Nature Communications report of April 23.
