Struggle Is Strength: howThe Journey of Facing Alcohol

Struggling with alcohol is not weaknes

Standing up to it is real strength.

There is a widespread misconception in society that people affected by alcohol are weak and ignorant.T hat is completely false.

The only mistake made by those caught in alcohol's grip is a lack of understanding about alcohol. Sadly, no one in our society has truly provided this understanding till now.

When someone struggles with alcohol, it means they are aware at a psychological level of the inner battle happening within them. The moment they think about changing their habit, societys harsh judgment pushes them down even further. So never forget: society also plays a major role in the downfall of people addicted to alcohol.

Being trapped by alcohol doesn't happen in a single day. It slowly becomes a habit, then a need, and eventually takes control of one's entire life.

Even at this stage, if a person realizes,

 this is destroying me,

 and decides,

 I must face this,

that decision itself is a sign of extraordinary mental strength.

Fighting alcohol is not just fighting a substance.

It is fighting fear, habits, old pain, social pressure, feelings of failure everything within.

Many run away from this struggle.

 Some deny it.

But a few choose to stand firm.

 They say:

Yes I am struggling. But I will not give up. I believe my drinking habit will come under my control.

 These videos are for them.

Our victory begins with postponing just for today the urge to drink.

 Even if you fail again,

if you still have the mindset to try again,

that person is not a failure.

 They are on a journey.

Quitting alcohol is not a one day miracle.

 It is an awakening.

 A sense of responsibility.

 The beginning of self respect
