STRESS, HOW TO MANAGE STRESS IN STUDENTS

How many students have severe depression? Young parents may say that preschool children have a lot of stress. They leave their parents for the first time, and they have many reasons to be afraid. Elderly parents say high school students are under a lot of pressure, as they have just entered adolescence. And some will cite high school as a time of great stress. Many, however, agree that the pressures of university life are great.

Managing student stress at universities is an unforgettable issue. Some universities offer voluntary stress management classes, but students often do not have the time to attend. If they have time, they are not interested.

Keys to Managing Stress

Some keys will open the door to better stress management among university students. Some of those keys are used, but some are lost or ignored. Without them, stress management is limited to students. We will not attempt to calculate here all the key, or place them in any other way. Instead, we would like to raise the keys to managing stress that may be lost in the garbage of today's society.

Explicit definitions: Effective stress management among students requires clear definitions such as “stressor,” “stress,”

Students who do not fully understand what stress is are not expected to succeed in stress management. They may try to control the stress, thinking that they are under control. The result may be an increase in stress rather than stress.

Controlling stress for university students can begin after realizing that the additional demands on them are the pressure, not the pressure. Then they need to understand that their reaction to those demands includes pressure. Finally, in order to understand how to manage physical stress, they will need to know that there are two types of stress. The other, eustress, has its benefits. Also, stress is dangerous.

Students who understand these ideas, and embrace them, open the first door that leads to stress management.

Application: With a strong understanding of definitions, students are ready to develop a stress management system. They are ready to lock the gate of the barn to prevent the escape of horses.

Armed with the knowledge that stress is the answer to stress, students can learn to control that response. They may decide to take positive, practical steps to cope with stress. They can, in a sense, expect stress as a measure of stress management.

Stressor Identification: An important part of stress management is learning to identify the enemy. A student who focuses on a tertiary institution will see oppressive people who do not know who they are. Every university student has pressures. We all have unique needs for us. The key to managing stress is to recognize those needs as stressful.

In universities and colleges, pressures take on a rare form of work. Sharing a room with a stranger creates needs for the student. A new kind of learning is needed. Financial services and new dating rates can be stressful.

Whether students from Italy or Iowa, they are free to rule their own country, and that freedom is oppressive. Freedom makes strange demands on the one who did not fully.

All of this and the 2000s are the stress that a student needs to experience in order to control their own stress.

Turning Stress Into Eustress: Another key to helping open the door to stress management is turning stress into eustress. Students often act as victims of their own pressures. They believe that they can do nothing but suffer. Managing stress requires them to learn to turn the negative feedback from oppressors into a positive response.

Eustress, a stressful time, is what carries a happy, happy couple through the storm of preparation for a big wedding. From the moment of the proposal, the couple may be surrounded by pressures. Additional needs, unusual needs are made for them. Yet they are not depressed. Needs are not a burden. Hug them, and she responds with a smile. They accept the challenge of making everything happen on time because they choose to accept it that way.

The same type of response can be used in other situations that require stress management. Much of what students view as negative stress can be reversed, giving them the strength to succeed.

Is this a false, blue idea of controlling stress? Not at all. Does this not include principles such as deep breathing, exercise, healthy eating, and regular sleep? No. As we have said, this is not an attempt to provide all the keys to stress management. It is an attempt to trace the keys that were ignored.

Stress management among students at universities can be disrupted by many programs, drugs, and treatment if these keys are used properly.
