Guru Drona taught archery to the son of Pandund Kaurava. One day he went to the forest with five Pandavas. He also had a dog with him.
The dog went into the forest and barked and entered Eklavya and the hermitage. At that time Ekalavya was practicing archery in front of Guru Drona's statue When Naya Guru approached Drona and the Pandavas, they were surprised to see him.
They followed him to Ekalavya and the Ashram and saw him practicing archery in front of a statue of Guru Drona. Guru Drona asked if he closed the dog and his mouth with arrows? So he folded his hands and bowed his head.

Guru Drona was impressed by his archery skills and asked him, andquot;Who is your guru?andquot; Ekalavyan assumed the name Guru Drona. Guru Drona was surprised. He said, andquot;I never taught you archery, so how can I be your teacher?andquot; Eklavya said that he was the son of Nishadand.
