Stop Waiting On Your Life #toprated

This week, I was on the phone with technical support, and I kept thinking about all the things I might have done instead of waiting and not living my life.

Do you still feel like you're "hanging on" to your life?

Do you think your spouse will show up, or do you think he or she will do a better job for you? Are you looking for design ideas for your home? Are you hoping that a good job will come your way? Are you putting off planning your retirement because you're hoping to win the lottery?

What a long time you've had to wait in your life! The only difference between you and those who achieve their goals is that they continue, whereas you did not. Here are some suggestions to get you started.

Concentrate on whom, not what.

If you're having trouble achieving a goal, try repeating "who I am" instead of "what I want." Instead of stating, "I want to lose 30 pounds," say, "I want to lose 30 pounds." Make your statement as specific as possible. It's worth noting that "I want to help" can refer to anyone from a retail clerk to a heart surgeon. Concentrate on becoming the person you want to be. Then consider which acts are most appropriate for your desire to "become" rather than "find."

Examine it.

Did you know that 20% of your troubles are caused by the other 80% of your life? True! Find out what the 20% of your life is that affects the majority of it, and work to make it happier, more productive, and more gratifying.

Put a value on it.

The most common error I notice among my training clients is failing to provide genuine value for their time, energy, money, and the "actual place" (location) of their home or business. 'No, to the movie,' and 'No, to the other person,' she says in each case. Always ask yourself, "Is this * valuable * to me enough that I'm squeezing my life, or even removing anything from my closet, my routine, or my money?"

Examine it.

Make a schedule.

I know you have a "pizza night," but why don't you switch back to "credit night" or "clean your room night?" Processes occur in all aspect of your life, just like pizza night. Traditional methods are liberating, despite the fact that they appear to be boring and restricted. In the same way that you should not stress about dinner on pizza night, instead of fretting on Monday morning about whether you remembered to pay for auto insurance, you will feel at ease knowing that you will go to the bank every Friday afternoon and pay your bills every Wednesday evening. Trails relieve stress.

Accept that you have the ability to control things.

We've all heard about political physicians' denials. In your daily life, I'd want to introduce the concept of 'control.' You may not be able to influence global politics, but you can vote. Terrorism is beyond your control, but you can prepare for it at home. You have no influence over highway construction workers, but you do have control over how much time you spend driving. Knowing what you can control and how to use it, as well as letting go of what you can't, puts you in control of your life.

When you stop waiting and start living the life you truly desire, you will feel good about yourself. When you make decisions rather than being pushed, you will experience less stress and frustration. Self-improvement will be easier and simpler as you gain a greater feeling of self-acceptance.
