SMOKING, ''THE EARLY DEATH'' QUIT SMOKING WHY AND HOW

1. Smoking is a slow killer. It is now known to be the largest preventable cause of premature death. The cigarette habit has affected everyone at one time or another, directly or indirectly, and has caused a huge number of deaths due to this habit. The average life expectancy of a smoker is shortened by 10-12 years, and more than half die from smoking-related diseases.

(f) Stay away from events and places where smoking is an activity, at least until you are strong enough to resist the temptation and stop feeling like you are missing out.

(g) Be mentally prepared and know that you will encounter obstacles and challenges in your plan. Stay resolved even if you, unfortunately, have a “slip”. Many smokers have successfully quit and are now happy ex-smokers.

(h) Persevere. A positive and confident outlook will help build your confidence, especially with each passing smoke-free day. Having a plan to quit smoking is definitely an important method to find guidelines that you can work with to achieve your goal. And it will work for you, as it has for many other people who give up. Focus on that.

6. Stop smoking, why, and how. It is true that quitting smoking can be very difficult, but it can and has been. If you decide to quit smoking, you will find immense benefits in regaining your health, mental well-being, and psychological freedom.
