Why is it essential to share books with kids?

One of my first recollections of youth is that of my mom perusing Dr. Seuss books to me in a major earthy colored chair in our parlor. That memory carries with it sounds and smells and an overall sensation of security and solace that never blurs, even after so long.

Normally, one of the principal recollections I have of my own first conceived youngster is sitting in a major seat and perusing Minimal Brilliant Books to him.

Imparting books and perusing to my kids is just about as normal as giving them showers and making their morning meal. It's simply something I do ordinary, and it's quite possibly the most pleasurable snapshots of my day. I love to hold my two- year- old in my lap while we cuddle up and glance through his steadily developing library of books.

His number one books change week after week as his inclinations expand. Books open up the world to him and his creative mind is rising over with novel thoughts consistently.

More than just telling a story, books help children better understand their own ideas and feelings and often calm an upset toddler when nothing else will work. They see and hear about other kids like them and others from around the world who are different.

We have all seen little kids acting out the stories they hear. As a child I spent many afternoons pretending to be the characters from my favorite books. Just recently my son was playing ‘Dr. Dan. The Bandage Man’, a current favorite Little Golden Book.

Although reading with children is so very rewarding for both adult and child, little kids need time to look at books alone.

This allows them the opportunity to look at the pictures and develop the habit of ‘reading’ even though they can’t yet read. In my Family Child Care, I have different ‘libraries’ available in different rooms in my home.

The kids have labeled these areas ‘libraries’ themselves, and will often rotate the books from room to room and act out ‘going to the library’ daily. Imagine my surprise when I first witnessed a three year old taking the younger kids ‘to the library.’

Since books are an exceptionally easy to use action and require no prep or cleanup other than returning them to the 'library', guardians can and should utilize any chance to impart books to their small kids.

Long vehicle or plane outings, lounge areas, in shopping baskets, and so on, you can hand a kid a book and make pretty much any progress or in any case exhausting movement invigorating.

Books and perusing can be both a gathering or individual action, and numerous kids who are ordinarily modest in a social scene will sit in the understanding circle and offer story-time while making new companions.

By offering books to your small kid, you are planting a valuable memory that will endure forever for both parent and kid. They truely will proceed with the custom with their own youngsters and recollect those unique occasions. A universe of encounters and thoughts are sitting tight for you to acquaint with them.
