How Seven Paths Will Support and Will Keep Healthy Blood Pressure During Pregnancy

Whenever you become Pregnant or make a plan for pregnancy, you must think about your blood pressure, even if your blood pressure had remained normal. Mostly pregnancy complications, like having a preterm baby, are related to high blood pressure. Pregnancy complications may also increase your risk of heart disease. You can be prevented several pregnancy complications. When your pregnancy would begin, your blood pressure should be less than 120/80 mm Hg. However, a type of high blood pressure may develop during or right after pregnancy. A complication known as gestational hypertension is defined as blood pressure 140/90 mm Hg or greater. It generally occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy or at the end of delivery. The other condition is preeclampsia, a combination of high blood pressure that occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy with other symptoms. Your organs will not work well, and high protein levels will increase in your urine. Serious cases can lead to life-threatening seizures or coma, a condition known as preeclampsia. Here are seven tricks that help you and your baby keep safe from problems related to high blood pressure.

1. Converse with your doctor. Whether you are pregnant or not, you must know about your blood pressure and also converse with your doctor, who can help you to determine it. Work with your doctor to make a plan for a healthy pregnancy. This will include the following discussion:

What's your healthy blood pressure range, How can you control your low or high blood pressure by adopting a healthy lifestyle, Medications you are taking, the Health history of your family, Your age, living place, race, or access to healthcare?

2. You must monitor your blood pressure. Your doctor will check your blood pressure at each visit. If it’s high or low, he may suggest you get a home monitor. In any increase or decrease in numbers, you must consult your doctor.

.3. Know the symptoms of preeclampsia. You should  know the following symptoms of preeclampsia In such case, you must call your doctor, 

 

Swelling of hands or face

Suddenly weight Gained within two days

More than two pounds gaining a week

Often Peeing less than normal

 In case of the following signs, go to the emergency department; 

Headache 

Feel trouble  in taking breathing

Pain in the right shoulder, on the right side, or below the ribs 

When you feel nausea and vomiting

Also, feel changes in Vision 

4. Always Get support from friends and family. Share signs of pregnancy complications with your family and friends. They would help you to monitor your feeling and also help you to get medical care. They may be an advocate for you at the meeting with your doctor.

.5. Prevent yourself from taking any stress. Stress isn’t good for your blood pressure. You can prevent yourself from taking any stress to adopt the following practices; Guided imagery, progressive muscle relaxation, and deep breathing exercises moving more trying yoga, or meeting up with friends.

6. Stay healthy post-pregnancy. After your pregnancy, You may need a cardiovascular screening three months after pregnancy and then annually. This will measure your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and weight.
