The minister was even seen slapping the student on the head. According to the Indian embassy in Poland, VK will return home with Harjyot and 200 other Indians from Ukraine on the same plane.
The Government of India has launched Operation Ganga to repatriate Indians stranded in Ukraine. Where Indians in Ukraine cross the border and arrive in neighboring Poland, Romania or Hungary, they are being rescued and repatriated. The rescue operation of the last phase of Operation Ganga has started on Monday. An Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft carrying about 200 Indians left Poland for India.
