Autistic children and adults often seek stress in a variety of ways to calm down and deal with nerve congestion. In many cases, hugging and squeezing from other people can cause great stress because children with autism or adults are often unable to communicate their needs by indicating a certain amount or length of stress. These are both frustrating and do not apply to both the autistic person and anyone who is hugging or squeezingIf a person with Autism does not like to kiss, there are many other ways to show love and affection; find out what works best! This could be a massage, holding hands, playing with their hair, sitting together and watching TV, etc. If a person with Autism is unable to say or explain what they like and dislike, you may need to find out what works best for you. Physical hugging may not be a problem, it may be the feeling of someone's hair on the cheek or the smell of body odor! All I can say is prepare for the trial and error!. A hug machine was created to help reverse this frustration, putting people with autism in control of their condition. Both children and adults suffering from autism sometimes wish to be suppressed to help alleviate anxiety. As a result, one woman with autism developed a hugging machine, also known as a hug box or squeezing machine. The hug machine has two side panels attached near the bottom of the boards to form a V-shape. The lever helps push the side boards together to create pressure; the lever also allows the autistic child or adult to control the amount and length of pressure. Research is still being done to find out why those with autism respond to stress and how it can produce a cooling effect. The hugging device may touch the higher levels of the nervous system of those with autism who often experience disturbing or depressive behavior. By applying pressure, either an autistic child or an adult shifts his focus to a single feeling — pressure — which also has a calming effect. For many children and adults with autism, anxiety can be completely disabling. Unemployment and anxiety are frustrating, so morally upright is even more difficult. Sometimes, the only relief from such stress is stress. To this day, the hug machine is used by a number of programs and researchers studying autism and treatment programs. Keep in mind that cuddling or squeezing a child with autism may not help. In fact, it may even increase their sensitivity and cause your anxiety to increase. Although you may not be able to buy a hug, you may be able to do the same. Try wrapping a child with autism or an adult in a blanket, when they can no longer control how much pressure you should put on. You could also look at buying boards with pads that closely mimic the side boards of the hug and perhaps tie or attach a heavy cord on each side to allow an autistic child or adult to control how much pressure to apply and for how long. Contact your child's school to see if there is an interest in buying a community hug. This may not be the solution to all your child's problems, but it does work well to help many autistic people deal with the world.
