I work in Pune, India. But right now I coming to my village because of the fear of the Corona Virus. I came to the village for four years. I am not aware of the situation in my village. When coming to the village, I thought we would have lots of fun, walked around, eat mangoes on the trees and do many such activities. But when I came to the village, I experienced a different picture.
The first day I woke up in the morning and I walked to the toilet and my grandmother said today there is no water in the house, you go to the field and see if there is water. I went, luckily there is water.
When I got home, I asked my grandmother, what was going on. Even though our house has a water bore, there is no water in the house. Then grandmother said, there is water, but there are numbers to fill. Our number is tomorrow. At one day 10 families fill the water. There will be about 500 families in our village. Every day 10 families fill the water. I wanted to see how these peoples fill the water. Older persons more in the village because young peoples have gone to the city for work.
Peoples were coming to fill the water, it was very crowded. It was 90%, old age peoples. Even though these peoples were given water the whole day, they didn't get enough water. The next question was how these peoples would need the rest of the water. These peoples do not give a second thought every day, the only thought in their head is water, water, and only water.
There are so many educated peoples in my village who lives in cities, they cannot solve the problems of there parents being water. Then what use can such education do if it does not benefit our peoples?
This is very shameless things where our old age peoples who struggle for water in daily life.
