The depression in the Bay of Bengal, which is relied upon to escalate into a cyclonic tempest- Bulbul, is currently liable to skip Odhisa and head towards Sagar Island in West Bengal and Kepupara in Bangladesh. The regions put on alarm incorporate Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Puri, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh and Nuapada. The Deep Depression in the Bay of Bengal has increased into cyclonic storm, called Bulbul. The tempest is arranged around 770 km South southeast part of Paradip in Odhisa. It is probably going to pursue a north-northwestward track, moving towards the territory of West Bengal and Bangladesh. There is high likelihood of the framework turning into a Severe Cyclonic Storm within following 12 hours.

It has been predicted that light to moderate raunfall will start at many places in west bengal and heavy rain at isolated locations will begin in coastal regions from the same day. Stormy wind with speed reaching about 40-60 km/h is possibly to come over the Odhisa-West Bengal Coastal regions from the evening of November 8. In this situation, Odhisa Government has disclosed red alert as a food supply situation over 15 districts of Odhisa.

The Bulbul may not touch coastal region of Odhisa. It is expected to go towards coastal regions of West Bengal and Bangladesh.

Note : Cyclonic Bulbul is coming after the five months of appearance of Cyclone Fani
