Pogba has not played for United since Nov. 2 after a thigh injury during on a international match with France. In December, Rangnick told Pogba to leave his rehabilitation in Dubai and return back to Carrington for the rest of his recovery.
Rangnick told a news conference on Friday."A week ago I was told it would take another four or five weeks for the recovery of our Frenchman"
Pogba is currently working hard and facing a race against time to build up his fitness ahead of United Champions League round-of-16 first-leg clash with Atletico Madrid on Feb. 23. As we all know that Atletico Madrid has a drawback when they play against the Goat of the football (Cristiano Ronaldo). Since the absence of the Frenchman Pogba, it makes the Manchester United's center mid-look not too strong. So, his arrival back to the team might help the Manchester United an upper hand in upcoming Champions League round-of-16 first-leg clash with Atletico Madrid on Feb 23.
The French midfielder Pobga is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of this season and if fresh terms are not agreed he will be able to leave on a free transfer in June.
Some sources told ESPN that there is an offer waiting on the table from United , but there is also interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs from various leagues(La Liga, Series-A, Ligue 1) including teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
Paul Pogba has just 12 months left on his current contract with Manchester United and has been already linked with Series-A, Ligue 1 and La Liga teams like Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. Manchester United are getting stronger and stronger and yet united are giving Pogba everything he ever wanted and needed to thrive at the club.
Indeed, United’s squad is now one of the strongest in the Premier League, and will be even stronger once Jadon Sancho completes his 73m move with Raphael Varane from Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus move to the club later this summer. Pogba is no longer the only world class player currently in the Old Trafford dressing room, as was the case a few years ago.
Manchester United- New Arrivals 2021/22

If reports at the time were to be believed that, Pogba initially plotted an escape from United to play at the top level of the European game. Under the Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, though, they have qualified for the Champions League in back-to-back seasons and even more impressively, United finished second in the 2020/21 Premier League table.
Manchester United now appear to have a greater understanding of their own team with, its legend Cristiano Ronaldo back at Old Trafford and the role Pogba can play. From the club’s perspective, it would be galling to see any player who has suffered so much over the last few years leave just as circumstances are starting to suit him. From Pogba’s standpoint, it would be peculiar timing to accept defeat when United are winning more and more.
