Racism According to Islam

Racism is one of the worst crimes that one does in Islam. It is a religion in which when someone becomes a part of it that person will have the same rights as everyone else. It is a religion that teaches its followers the right path and gives the same right to every follower of this religion.

In the last khutba of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu AlaihiWasallam said that “No white is superior to black nor black is superior to white, no Arab is superior to non Arab, the one who is superior in the eyes of Allah is the one who is the most pious”.

Origin of Racism according to Islam:

Racism according to Islam originated when Allah ordered the Angels and the Satan to bow to Adam. All the angels bow down to the Prophet Adam except Satan. When Allah asked Satan why he didn't bow down he said “I am better than him. You made me out of the sand and he is made of clay. I will not bow to him”. For that, he was expelled out of heaven for having such a behavior.

Racism of today and the Racism of Satan:

Even today some of us are having the same ignorant attitude towards one another not knowing that we are following the path that is wicked. Knowing that there is no good in this path but we still act rude against the people having different color, different race, different language or different country. This is the same attitude as Satan had towards Adam.

Solution:

We have to educate people and let them know that as human beings it does not suit us to show intolerance to the people who are different in color or have away of living different than us. We need to know that tolerance is the best attitude to have.

We must try to show our people that it is not about the different color that people see the image beautiful, It is the good, handsome and honest character that makes our image beautiful.
