Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Mohammad Ali Jinnah was born in Karachi on 25th of December, 1867. His father belonged to kathiawar but settled in Karachi and was a wealthy exporter of hides and skins. He first studied in the Gokhuldas primary school Bombay, then he studied his Matriculation examination from Islamic Mission High School Bombay in first class. He was a brilliant and hard working studied. At the advice of his father's friend, Mr Croft, he was allowed to go to England for further studies. At the age of 20 he qualified as barrister at law. During his stay in England he carefully studied the British Parliamentary system. He met Dadabhoy Narroji, the famous Indian partriot and worked for him to win a seat in the British Parliament.

                                          In 1896 he returned to Karachi to practice as lawyer. Karachi town at that time had little scope for his talent. He therefore shifted to Bombay. After two or three years he Rose to eminence among the practicing lawyers. He took keen interest in politics and became a member of the India National Congress.

                                     He was elected to the Central Legislature he was called the "Messenger of unity" by in 1910, he believed that the sub-continet could only be free and happy if the Hindus and Muslims became friends. He worked for this goal with such passionate devotion that Mrs. Sirojni Naidu, a famous Indian Leader. He brought about an agreement between the Congress and the Muslim League. But the narrow minded Hindus were not happy about it. He was a man of deep insight. When he saw that the Hindus were not sincere in giving a honourable place to Muslim. He dissassociation himself from the Congress and finally resigned. 

                                    Now Quaid-e-Azam began to consider seriously prospect of a separate Islamic State where Muslim could live according to their own culture and where principles of Islamic Society and Justice could find free play. He determined to get separate country for the Muslims. The real task before him was to unite the scattered people into a nation. He re-organized the Muslim League on Democratic lines, travelled from one corner of the country to another to gather the Muslims under one flag. For him "Unity , Faith and Discipline" were the essential qualities, on which the foundation of the new Homeland was to be laid.

                                       On 23 March 1940, the Muslim leaguers assembled in Lahore under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam who demanded that areas where Musalmans were in majority should be given freedom as an independent state. The Hindus and the English who were treating this idea as joke were compelled to abondon the opposition of Pakistan. At last by the grace of God and joint struggle of the Muslims, Pakistan came into existence on 14th August, 1947. Qiaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was appointed it's first Governor General. He died on 11th Sept, 1948. May his soul rest in peace! Ameen.

                                  Quaid-e-Azam honest and truthful under all circumstances. He said what he meant. He will always be remembered as Founder and Builder of Pakistan.
