The rulers want to gain the trust of the people while taking the people into confidence. It is through such mutual trust that the county move forward. But as the boast of being in power and beyond, the ego of numbers starts to grow, and mutual trust between the government and the people start to break down.
The Narendra Modi government has come to power for the second time , but since to coming power in the 5th, this government has not made sincere efforts to gain public confidence. The army was backed up by such as illusion of public backwardness, that is , the people and their expression. Walls of hate erupted in religions. This is a demonstration that millions of people took to the streets all over the country to believe in the value of securlarism and the constitution.
Once is a doubt raised about intentions of the government, then any decisions taken by the government is viewed with suspicion. The national population registration (NPR) has started to look the same. The Prime minister Narendra Modi and Home minister Amit Shah are doing the work of adding to the confusion that is happening across the country through the citizenship improvement bill and the NRC.
Amit shah has publicly announced at least a dozen times in the last year that he will turn to the NRC after implementing the Citizenship Improvement Act (CAA) . Parliament has also classified. Nevertheless, Narendra Modi has said at the Delhi meeting that there was no such thing , such a propaganda was being done to discredit the government. Later , Amit shah also blended with Narendra Modi. Until the CAA and NRC are dissolved, the union cabinet announces the national population registration,NPR. Except for Assam , all the state and union territories of the country will have a population registration function from April 1 to September 7 and at the same time, the cabinet has also approved rs. 8.5 crores for the census.
In fact the first population registration was done in 1 and updation was done in 2. It will be updated next year. That means that NPR is not a fabrication of some Modi government, but it is not known that there has been opposition to NPR before. At this time , however the tensions against NPR following the CAA , NRC are intensifying. The reason for this is the governments policy of confusing people in many thing.
