Everything new in the December 2022 Pixel Feature Drop is listed below: PIXEL PHONES
Google One Proxy server for the Pixel 7:
A free Good VPN through Google One was one of the announcements of the unique feature made at the Pixel 7 launch. That did not go live with the mobiles but was scheduled for December, which we are currently in. This should be operational, and you can access it by starting the Google One app (Google Play Link) and then selecting the "VPN" tab. It's as simple as flipping a switch there to turn it on. You’ll also now find a quick options button to turn it off or on too.
Fresh Call for Pixel 7:
This is yet another of the Pixel 7 festival features that was supposed to arrive later but has now arrived. Pretty obvious Calling is a feature on Pixel 7 devices that reduces background noise while improving the speech of the person on the other end of the phone conversation. In October, it was first seen in an Android 13 beta build. The toggle for it can be found in Settings>Sound & Vibration.
Speaker labels for the Pixel 7, Pixel 6, and Pixel 3:
Here is an additional launch feature for the Pixel 7. These Recorder app speaker labels can detect multiple speakers speaking at the same time, label them, and add full stops between them. That's pretty awesome.
Spatial Audio for Pixel 7, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6a:
We have been going to wait for Spatial Audio to arrive since the Pixel Buds Pro was released because they assist it. While I wish I could tell you that it is now available, Google has announced that it will be available in January. So you have one more month until your Pixel gets head-tracking, super immersive surround sound.
Modern Security Center:
Pixel phones will receive a fully integrated privacy and security center, allowing you to review all of your privacy controls and risk levels in one place. It will display action cards and attempt to notify you if something appears to be wrong and requires your attention.
Pixel wallpapers have been updated:
You can find new wallpapers for Worldwide Day of Individuals with Disabilities in the "Curated Culture" section of your Pixel phone's screensavers area.
Pixel 6 snores, sleep, and more:
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro can now detect sleep issues such as snoring, coughing, and how much time you spend on your phone before bed.
More devices with the instant search:
Universal phone search for contacts, apps, screenshots, settings, and more is now useable all the way back to the Pixel 4a line.
New languages for live translation:
Pixel phones now support Arabic, Persian, Swedish, Vietnamese, and Danish translations via Live Translate.

Fitbit's Sleep Profile Feature Arrives in Pixel Watch Premium:
Along with the Pixel Watch app update that Google began rolling out yesterday, Fitbit's Sleep Profile feature is also on the way. This is a new Fitbit Premium feature that will give you more insight into your sleep and tell you what kind of animal Fitbit thinks you are.
Three examples of the animal I mentioned above are shown below: a tortoise, a giraffe, and a dolphin. According to Google, the Giraffe sleeper (22.8% of people) would be someone "who doesn't get lot of sleep but sleeps solidly when they do." The Tortoise spends more time in bed overall, whereas the Dolphin has an irregular sleep schedule. Other animals include the Hedgehog, Parrot, and Bear.
Aside from cute animals, your Sleep Profile will include a detailed analysis of how your sleep patterns compare to someone similar to you (age and gender). Again, the goal is to assist you in improving because sleep is extremely important.
Because this is a monthly report, Pixel Watch users will receive their first one on November 22 if they wore their watch for at least 14 days in October.

New Weather and Connection Tiles:
Google announced new Tiles for Contacts and daylight, as well as an improved Keep knowledge, as part of the December Android Feature Drop. This is a Wear OS feature, but I suppose it counts.
Fall Detect the presence (coming soon):
I'm not sure why Google has announced this again, but for this December Drop, they are trying to remind us that Fall Detection will arrive on the Pixel Watch sometime in 2023.
That's all there is to it!
Because much of what we've just discussed is app-related, you'll notice these new features as the related apps receive updates in the coming days or weeks. However, keep in mind that this is also the day that the massive December quarterly Android update arrives on Pixel phones, which should fix a variety of bugs (all 77 of them). Many of you have been testing it in beta since September, and it is now available for everyone to use.
