Parenting tips for Child's Superior Holistic Performance-Part 1

 Parents face tremendous challenge with children's behavioural patterns. So here we present few techniques to help Parents aligning children's mental makeup with new challenges.

We all have individual 'MENTAL MAKEUP' (the decoding of personal expereinces registered in mind)  & we use them to make sense of life & also communicate these maps with others which becomes an individual's communication style.

for example: A Timid child who is shy or an introvert, has a map, each time he goes to interact with others. Each time he goes to interact with others, a set of responses are generated & passed on to his mind, bringing the same uncomfortable feelings.

<How to Establish Strong Bond With Children>

We communicate 97% subconsciously & only 3% consciously. So a Child doesn't only absorb what you speak or say but also 'WHAT YOU DON'T SAY'. So be very conscious of your own behaviour when you are in presence of your child. Shouting, speaking loudly, using conceited behaviour, rebuking, being disrespectful for others etc is being watched curiously & is 'ABSORBED'.

<Using Natural Language>

A healthy child absorbs information from its surroundings from the moment it is born. It responds to all situations intelligently. It is allowed to adopt the natural adult language around it rather than being spoken to in 'BABY  TALK'. So Parents must use natural language than the baby talk as it shall help them blossom & grow.

<Focus on Possibilities than on Limitations>

Children perform superbly when permitted 'deviation from standard norms of learning'. Sometimes they are caught up between their own choice & the Educators surrounding them who themselves lack expertise to teach beyond the set stadards. Joining school & then University - a child has to adapt to fit the narrow approaches (usually) of the the people & Education system. Hence more concentration is on 'limitations' rather than 'possibilities'.

<Searching Effective Strategies to meet Child's needs>

We can help children to find effective strategies to meet the needs. If a child doesn't respond to formal education well then Parents need to  find out their 'true  inclination'

for example: If a child has been spending hours on playing computer games but has no interest in studies. It is not that it suffers from ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder) but because playing computer games is much higher on his hierarchy of values than 'completing homework'.

Under these circumstances, Parents are advised to find a strategy that would link computer with homework
