Pallankuzhi - Which is one of the Indian Traditional Games

Pallankuzhi - An Indian Traditional Game:

Pallankuzhi is a sport commonly played by girls. Pallankuzhi is one of the most important objects of femininity in the cultural tradition of the Tamils. Devanayapavanar first wrote about the game of Pallankuzhi in his book 'Tamil Nadu Games'. Later Professor Thayammal Aravanan wrote a comprehensive book titled 'Pallankuzhi (Dravidian-African Comparison)'. Polo play around the world has been interpreted by tribes with minor changes.

System:
The Pallankuzhi is a play device made of wood or metal. It will have seven pits in two rows. The fourteen pit game was called Pannankuzhi because there were fourteen pits along both rows. Later it was called Pallankuzhi. The game is usually played with puliyankottai (Tamarind seeds) or some large seeds or choli (sovi).

Tanzanian Pallankuzhi board:
Pawanar mentions four types of ball game. Professor Thayammal Aravanan. He mentions eight types of poaching and gives a detailed table of their different names, number of pits, number of pits and areas in which they can be played. This is a book that has been researched and written all over Tamil Nadu

The basics of the ball game can be defined as follows:

*. In a two-a-side multiplayer game (including the right-hand hole if the side boundary is a hole) the game begins with five pieces per hole and seven holes per person with precise evenness.

* The first time someone picks up his pieces and starts the game, the balance is broken for the first time.

* The pods are subject to loss in the digger pit.

* Put the round pieces together and wipe out an empty hole (absence or loss) and get a lot of pieces (great wealth) instead of the first five pieces.

* In the game and an intermission also occurs. As each coin is placed in an empty pit, it is multiplied by four and the pitcher takes it in the name of a cow.

* As a result, the five pieces at the start of the game (complete at the start) never get back into a pit.

* The loser (for example, if he got less than 15 pieces) must leave three holes empty in his area and continue the game. The enemy (winner) will not put the pieces in that pit. In some places the loser will not put up. Now there is a permanence to the pit loss of the loser.

* When a player loses at the end of the game, the game continues with the remaining pieces in his hand being four without even a pit five. This is called 'porridge brewing'. The word kanji is a symbol of poverty.

* The game is complete when the loser loses without even a single piece.
