What is organic farming

Organic farming, also known as ecological farming or biological farming, is an agricultural system that uses fertilizers of organic origin such as compost manure, green manure, and bone meal and places emphasis on techniques such as crop rotation and companion planting.

Simply stated, organic products are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, genetically modified organisms, or ionizing radiation. Even animals that produce meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products are not given antibiotics or growth hormones for their growth.

The British botanist Sir Albert Howard is often referred to as the father of modern organic agriculture. Howard, having worked in India as an agricultural researcher, gained much inspiration from the traditional and sustainable farming practices he encountered there and advocated for their adoption in the West.

Organic food is the product of a farming system which avoids the use of man-made pesticides; growth regulators and livestock feed additives. Irradiation and the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or products produced from or by GMOs are generally prohibited by organic legislation

David and his wife groomed Janardan to become a successful businessman and, in 2008, they handed over the Ambrosia Organic Farm From here, Janardan became famous as made Ambrosia Organic Farm, India's first organic farm.

The Principles of Health, Ecology, Fairness, and care are the roots from which organic agriculture grows and develops. They express the contribution that organic agriculture can make to the world, and a vision to improve all agriculture in a global context.

The aims for organic farming are: Conserving environment and natural resources, re-establishing ecological balance, encouraging sustainable agriculture, improving soil fertility, conserving flora and fauna, increasing genetic diversity, and putting an end to chemical pollution and toxic residues.

The most commonly purchased organic foods are fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products and meat. Processed organic products are also available, such as sodas, cookies, and meat substitutes. Organic foods are produced through farming practices that only use natural substances.

Organic food is grown without the use of synthetic chemicals, such as human-made pesticides and fertilizers, and does not contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Organic foods include fresh produce, meats, and dairy products as well as processed foods such as crackers, drinks, and frozen meals.

India has emerged as one of the top three countries in the world where the area under organic agriculture expanded the maximum in 2020. India has emerged as one of the top three countries in the world where the area under organic agriculture expanded the maximum in 2020.

Producing food without chemical pesticides has a lot of benefits. Organic systems have been shown to produce 40% higher yields in times of drought, use 45% less energy, and release 40% fewer carbon emissions than conventional farming methods

Organic compounds are mainly found in most living things. Examples of organic compounds include fats, nucleic acids, sugars, enzymes, proteins and hydrocarbon fuels, cow dung, etc.

Organic chemistry is the study of the structure, properties, composition, reactions, and preparation of carbon-containing compounds.

Organic Living is a lifestyle which is dedicated to making more informed choices when confronted with decisions that influence your health and the environment.

The fertility of the soil is improved by using organic farming methods. They allow for the restoration of soil fertility and microbial population through natural cycles. The crop we receive is also chemical-free, making it healthier to consume.
