After Head of the state Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping had a short discussion as they shared the stage in South Africa during the BRICS highest point, China's unfamiliar service said the two chiefs had a "open and top to bottom trade of perspectives" on the ongoing relations between the two nations.

Chinese unfamiliar service representative Wang Wenbin in an explanation on Thursday night said, "President Xi Jinping chatted with Indian Top state leader Narendra Modi uninvolved of the BRICS Highest point at the last option's solicitation on August 23, 2023."

In the mean time, on Thursday, India's unfamiliar secretary Vinay Kwatra in a preparation said Modi, while addressing Xi, featured India's interests on the irritating issues along the LAC.

Strains among India and China

India-China ties plunged altogether following the savage conflict in the Galwan Valley in June 2020 that prompted the passing of a few troopers. The conflict has been set apart as the most serious military struggle between the different sides in many years.
