One with many uses. What is it really?

Papaya is one of the delicious fruit with rich source of vitamins. It is fairly rich in calcium and other minerals. Which makes your bones strong. The yellow pigment in Papaya is due to caricaxanthin. Papaya contains moisture 90.8%; protein 0.6% and carbohydrates 7•2%.papaya fruit contain a valuable proteolytic enzyme pap ain which helps in digestion of protein rich food. Manufacture of pap ain: pap ain is manufactured from the white latex of unripe papayas. Similar to the animal enzyme pepsin, pap ain is reputed for its Medicinal and industrial uses.   Medicinal uses: papaya is used for the treatment of ulcers and other aliments.  Skin blemishes are said to vanish when treated with pap ain . The fruits are beneficial in piles dyspepsia of liver, spleen and digestive disorders. Ripen fruits are used in preparation of jam, fruity, nectar, soft drinks, ice-cream, flavouring crystallized fruits and are canned as syrup. Young leaves are used as vegetables in Java. Carapace obtained from papaya is utilized as a diuretic and a heat stimulant.   How Does Papaya Work as a Meat Tenderizer?

Meat becomes tough and stringy because of these connective tissues, which stop you being able to bite through it easily and chew it without having to put in too much work! The papaya will gently   destroy these tissues, leaving you with nothing but the tender, juicy meat you want to enjoy when you throw it on the grill or put it in your other dishes. Papaya also has a delicious, fruity, tropical flavor that is a good addition to flavored marina.

Dengue fever: while there's currently no cure for dengue, several treatments are available for many  of it symptoms are which is papaya leaf several studies that included hundreds of people with dengue found that papaya leaf extract significantly increased blood platelet levels. Healthy skin: papaya leaf is frequently consumed orally or applied tropically as a way to maintain soft, clear and youthful looking. A protein dissolving enzyme in papaya is called as papain can be used tropically as an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells, prevent acne and potentially minimize the appearance of scars.  Heart health: papayas high vitamin-c and lycopene content can improve heart health and may reduce your risk of heart disease.  Uses of papaya seeds:  support liver and kidney and boost detoxification. Fight harmful bacteria and protect from infections.
