Coke has been a favorite among Americans , and starting in the early 1900's it slowly grew into a global phenomenon. Today, there are two places where you still can't buy a coke, Cuba & North Korea
But that wasn't always the case 
Coca -cola open one of its first bottling plants im CUBA in 1906, but pulled production on 1962 because of a trade embargo, not long Fidel Castro took over the country.
Since 1950, North Koreans haven't been able to buy coke either, thanks to the Korean war breaking out that same year.
The only things that has ever stopped coca-cola from being sold is politics getting in the way of buisness. with conflicts like World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War effectively ceasing production in some countires
Despite political circumstances, coca-cola has managed to sell its wares almost everywhere. the company's advertising looks different in each of the over 200 nations where it operates - but the ads are still unmistakblly for coke.
They are banned in North Korea and Cuba because of
politis: Both Cuba and North korea are incredibly anti-American, meaning that they will most likely never allow Americam products to be sold in their territories. North Korean even went so far as to ban nlue jeans, saying that they were a symbol of American Imperialism.
Trade Regulations: since both Cuba and North Korea aren't exactly on top of the United States' "nations to totally tarde with" list , its very unlikely that either the cocentrate from Coca-cola, or the ingredients needed to manufacture it domestically, will be allowed to be sent to these countries.
Countries like Burma, India,Vietnam and East Germany are places where coca-cola was temporarily banned for various reasons. But later these bans were released and coca - cola is served in almost all the places of the countries . It is the higest selling soft drinks in the entire world and bans in two countries doesnot effects the buisness of cola .
