New wave of corona will come? BA.4 and BA.5 variants of Omicron reached 6 countries, WHO gave this warning

Two new sub-variants (BA.4 and BA.5) of Omicron variants have been confirmed to reach many countries of the world. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said that these two new variants are not much different from their previous variants in terms of infectiousness or severity. However, the WHO also warned that this may change in the coming time. The WHO has given this update at a time when a new wave of corona is seen in many countries of Asia and Europe due to the BA.2 variant of Omicron.

Earlier this week, two scientists from South Africa reported the discovery of two new variants of Omicron named BA.4 and BA.5. However, he said that these two new variants have not caused any jump in the cases of corona virus in South Africa at present. So far, both these new sub-variants have been found in six countries, including South Africa, Botswana, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and the UK.

South African scientist Tulio de Oliveira said, "Given the very low infection rate in South Africa, the number of hospitalizations and deaths, we are not worried about it, but we are definitely alert about its ever-changing nature of the virus. Work is already underway in the lab for vaccines and reducing the effect of the virus, and we are strengthening the process of genome sequencing."

WHO is also constantly monitoring these new sub-variants. WHO scientist Maria van Karkhove said that so far we have not found much difference in the infectivity and severity of BA.4 and BA.5 compared to its previous variants, but this may change in the coming time. Earlier, the WHO Emergency Committee in a meeting held on Wednesday unanimously agreed that the coronavirus still remains a major threat to people's health.

However, for the third consecutive week at the global level, there was a decline in the number of corona cases. But in some countries including China, cases of corona are increasing rapidly, which is increasing the pressure on the hospitals there. Along with this, the WHO also appealed to the countries that they should not relax the rules against the corona epidemic.

Covid is not gone yet gov. Removed all the restrictions about using masks and all but in my opinion it still should be continued because as we can see that there are covid cases of both old and new variants in Delhi, Maharashtra etc.. There people who do up down from Delhi to Punjab or Delhi to Rajasthan, Gujrat, Chandigarh etc.. So it obviously going to create a chain for passing infection one person to another and especially when gov. Is so generous to remove all the restrictions and guidelines, I mean how careless you can be? This is the period when every single country is facing waves of covid and here we are removing all the restrictions like we are some kind of immortals then they will close public places once they found that there is a covid case in that area or in that office or in that school but I don't understand whats the point in closing that place when people already got infected, seriously don't treat it like a casual virus it's mutating even as we speak so don't just close those places after you found cases just because you want to satisfy the public.. You should wait till you clear all the cases till then keep everything online, it's not like we don't have optionn
