Mumbai witnessed a dramatic sight as the Mithi River swelled to the danger mark amid heavy rains.The river's low water levels had made it nearly impossible to recognize it as a river for years. However, the recent downpour changed everything, transforming Mithi into a forceful and fast-moving stream.
The river's normal capacity was exceeded by the city's recent torrential downpours. A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by civic activist Vidyasagar Jagadeesan captured the Mithi River in full fury as it swelled to the danger mark in Mumbai.
