Ingredients:
- 250 grams cluster beans
- 250 ml oil for frying.
- 2 medium sized onions(pyaz)
- 10-12 green chilli paste(hari mirchi)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds(zeera)
- 1 tablespoon peanuts(moongfali)
- 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste(adrak laisan)
- 10-15 curry leaves(kadi patta)
- Salt as per requirement
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder(haldi)
- 300 ml milk
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves(dhaniya patta)
Recipe:
- Chop cluster beans to 5-6 pieces each
- Take a pan and deep fry cluster beans in the oil till it shrinks(sikudna) lightly.
- Take the fried beans and the oil both in different containers.
- Put 1 and 1/2 tablespoon oil in the pan.
- After the oil turns hot put cumin seeds.
- Keep the flame low and put diced onions in the oil.
- When onions turn light brown put ginger garlic paste.
- Toss them lightly and add salt according to taste.
- Add curry leaves and then add green chilli paste.
- Toss them for 1 minute.
- Put roughly grinded peanuts and toss lightly.
- Put turmeric powder.
- Put fried beans and mix it well.
- Add milk and again mix.
- Put coriander leaves and cover the pan for 7 minutes.
- Switch off the stove or induction.
- Serve with flatbread(parathas) or deep fried bread(poori).
Note:
The beans preparation is done on a low flame after the oil turns hot.
