many people gain weight after working in an office job
Weight gain is a major problem, and it most likely has to do with the number of office jobs there are. At least for America.
Imagine waking up at 7:00 or 8:00 AM and going to work at 9:00 AM. Then you sit at your desk, slaving away for your boss to make some of his or her spare change (Pretty much). After 8 hours of slave labor, well, not quite, but you get what I’m getting at. After 8 hours, your countries laws say you can go home, if you choose to do so, or work overtime for some more money because we all know office jobs are not typically going to make you rich.
If you do decide to go home, you have just spent at least 8 hours sitting on your butt (or standing), and are tired, yet not having done much physical work. I mean come on, its already 5:00 PM!
You get home and change clothes, catch up with your family, if you have been so blessed with one, eat some dinner, probably take a nap, and by the time you’ve done that, it’s probably already 6 or 7.
You most likely go to sleep at 10 or 11. so you have about 4 to 5 hours to yourself. It seems like quite a bit, but you have to take care of your hygiene, relax, watch Netflix, YouTube, or something else, maybe read.
But what about fast food?
Some people don’t want to wait for their food, or they live alone and can’t quite cook yet. They will probably go to some McDonalds, or Wendy’s, or whatever their favorite fast food place is. I won’t judge.
That food is probably not doing anybody’s body a favor.
Most people with office jobs gain weight because of time, and money.
No one likes to wait…
