Let's try to understand the words of love, romance and relationships from other poetic quotes from Sanskrit and Tamil texts.
The first is from an anthology called Kurunthokai from the earliest Tamil texts.
The hero on seeing the heroine loved him. Love at first sight. He felt the same way.
The hero tells the heroine, as follows:
"Whoa! Mommy and Daddy can be yours? How did you and I meet? Hearts full of love came together like raindrops mixed with red sand on the ground and become one and it will not be easy. They are separated.
When water meets sand no one can distinguish red or sand in the water ".
As the two hearts came together into one. There may be two bodies but both have the same width.
They cannot tolerate separation. Such is true love.
Another Quote from Sanskrit poem. The poem appealed to King Bhoja, a great scholar. He quotes this poem from his famous book entitled "Sarawsathi kandabaranam"
A friend of the wife who is grieving at the inquiring lover answers her questions as follows:
"Are you all right and happy?"
"She is alive."
I ask you, "Are you all right?"
"I replied," she is fine. "
"You mean the same thing again".
"I mean you're dead still breathing?"
Such is the case with his beloved wife.
The couple is thinking about their union.
They meet in the bedroom which is their playground. In a tight hug her breasts were pressed, her skin happy. Then what happened?
Between her beautiful thighs, the night dress slipped as the milk of smooth love overflowed. She began whispering to her lover, 'Let me rest, my love, not again. Don't do it ". She pleaded loudly. She breathed out loud again. Or death? Or melted away completely in my heart? Or, do I see all these things in my dream? Are you dreaming? "
The hero cries thinking of his beloved as follows:
“Such are his thighs and his loins and his belly;
Such are her breasts and her smile,
His words are so sweet, his eyes blue, his hair curly,
With her face like that, it brightens the drops of nectar of beauty.
Most of the time I just sit and meditate like that
With one aspect of my love that is fawn. "
How can we portray a beautiful woman?
Here is a Sanskrit poem:
“His body is a pool,
His face is a lotus, and his hands are full of lotus stems,
Her beauty is water and her twisting wave three times.
When a mighty young elephant,
None other than my heart, which has fallen,
But being caught in the sands of love will never happen again ".
Yes, love is indeed the quickest sand. And a real relationship cannot tolerate separation.
