The much-anticipated affordable smartphone, JioPhone Next, will go on sale in the world's second-largest smartphone market on November 4th, according to Google and leading Indian telecom network Jio Platforms (coinciding with the big Indian festival of Diwali). The JioPhone Next is powered by Pragati OS, an optimised version of Android designed specifically for Indian people. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB.
The JioPhone Next includes a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Portrait mode, night mode, and preloaded bespoke India-augmented reality filters will all be available on the rear camera.
The Google Assistant on the JioPhone Next will assist customers in using the smartphone by responding to requests such as "open app" and "manage settings." A 'Read Aloud' option allows the user to have on-screen material read out loud to them. This allows people to consume content by listening to it in their own language. Finally, JioPhone Next includes a 'Translate' feature that allows the user to have any text translated into their preferred language.

The new JioPhone Next costs Rs. 6,499 in India. For the stated price, the smartphone can be purchased in full without any EMI choices. Buyers can also choose the Easy EMI option, which requires them to pay Rs. 1,999 upfront (plus Rs. 501 processing fees) and then pay the remaining balance in easy EMI.
Reliance Jio has confirmed that the JioPhone Next would be available for purchase from November 4th, Diwali. Users can acquire the handset by visiting a Jio Mart digital retailer or registering on the company's website.
