Why does technology become a time eater?

The spread of technology in the last decade has done a lot of good. It reduced many renovation tasks, created new opportunities for connection and made everyday life more convenient. For all that, there is much to be thankful for. Smartphones, Spotify, and Facebook don't necessarily make people happier now than they were before.

Some may use technology to complement their lives in a more positive way, but many, unfortunately, fall prey to the negatives of new technology.

Since the beginning of time, man has invented many techniques to make difficult tasks simple. Its culmination is telephone, computer, modern toothbrush and so on. Man found these to save his time and make his work easier. But what is all this doing to man today?

Human-detected vehicle saves transportation time. That leisure time is eaten up by the human invention of the telephone and television. WhatsApp and other chat applications were created to connect people far away. But that alone kills most hours of a day. It kills communication skills and language. Even sending mail is becoming a text message. Verbal communication is dying day by day. And it completely reduces socializing, talking and playing with the human beings.

Everyone has parts of the day when they’re most productive. The distractions of email, social media, and instant messaging can detract from those productive hours.

Many people are responding to messages instead of using that time to challenge their brains and work on challenging tasks. Then, when they sit down to work, they’re not in the most productive state of mind to do so.

When we get into a hyperfocused mode of work, called flow, we’re astoundingly more productive. We’re able to focus our entire being on the task at hand and attack it with rigor.

Messages and emails can interrupt this focus. A buzz in our pocket can distract our minds and direct them toward the person who messaged us. Although we can enter back into deep concentration, it typically takes several minutes — more than 23.

There are times when we try to solve a problem using technology as opposed to manual labor. For example, if you’re trying to write 30 individual notes, you might try to automate them on your computer. Often, this can be effective and save time. In some cases, though, you might not know how to use the tech, winding up taking more time than you would have otherwise.

As we continue to adopt more technologies, this friction occurs with increasing frequency.

It reduces people's productivity. How people can work productively through these multiple interactions. Technology is amazing. But it has a negative impact over time. Make a schedule for focused work without any interaction.

When man lived in harmony with nature, many tribulations occurred. But humanity thrived. Even after many evolutions have reached their peak today, the same development should not destroy man. To be successful, you need to know how to use technology effectively. They should strive to improve human resources. Man's   invention should not destroy man. It is against the nature. Let's use technology wisely.
