IPL 2022: RCB Top Star Dinesh Karthik "Reprimanded" For Breaching Code Of Conduct

Royal Challengers Bangalore player Dinesh Kathie has been "reprimanded" for breaching I PL Code of Conduct, an official I PL media release stated on Friday. Kathie had breached the Code Of Conduct during RCB's Eliminator clash against Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. RCB had won the Eliminator against LSG and now the side will square off against Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2. Kathie admitted to the Level 1 offense under Article. IP L Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction, stated the release. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding. I pl stated in the release. Against LSG in the Eliminator, Kathie played an unbeaten knock of 37 runs off 23 balls and he along with Raja Patinas (112 not out) helped RCB post 207/4 in 20 overs. In the end, RCB won the match by 14 runs, and now they will take on Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2. RCB had made it to the playoffs after Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals at the Wanked Stadium. RCB were placed at the fourth spot in the points table. Indian Premier League (IP L) side Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has revealed that when South African stalwart AB de Villiers decided to quit the team and announced his retirement at the end of the 2021 season, the team was taken aback. But the way Dinesh Kathie has shaped up this season, he has become "that rock" of the side"DK (Dinesh Kathie) has probably been that rock. When you miss a guy like AB (de Villains), we talked about how you are going to replace AB, and now we are not doing that, but he (Kathie) has been exceptional in terms of finishing," said Mike Hess on, RCB's director of cricket operations, on RCB Bold diaries before the Eliminator against Lucknow Super Giants at the Eden Gardens here later on Wednesday. The last few games played by RCB witnessed their batters putting up a fine show, while their much-talked about top order sprang back to life in the last league game against Gujarat Titans. With the team keeping its hopes alive of making it to the final, Hess on felt that a collaborative effort from Virat Kohli, skipper Ff du Plessy and Glenn Maxwell helped the side tame the Titans. He added that Kathie had been ably supported by Shabbat Ahmed and Mahican Lompoc, while Raja Patinas had also been in good touch in the handful of games that he has played." I believe Raja Patinas is an unsung hero. He came in as a replacement; he played some really important innings for us. He is a guy whom we would like to see how he develops in the next couple of years. "Mahican has also been impressive. He came in a little late. He had an initial injury and then came back. He had to wait. By this time, he has come back and added some spark, Hess on said about RCB's explosive middle-order all-rounder. Overall, he also backed Du Plessy captaincy, saying that the South African has the "capability of bringing people along for the ride". "Ff's been great, once we decided who was going to be captain, and he was made aware of that, it was certainly not all about him putting a stamp on it, but coming in and contributing to the culture, and the word culture is often overused, and often it's based around performance. So people go (say), 'oh they've won, so they must have a great culture'... For me, the culture happens first. It's something that is quite hard to define. It's more about how you react under pressure, how you react to your team-mates, and Ff is big on that.
