Introducing SharePlay
Keep FaceTime conversations going on as you watch TV shows and movies, listen to music, or share your screen. SharePlay is a completely new way to get to know family and friends, no matter how far away.
Watch together
Stream movies and TV shows while on the FaceTime phone with friends. By playing in sync with the controls, you will see everyone laughing, jumping, and reacting at the same time. And the volume automatically adjusts, so you can keep talking while watching.
Listen together
Share and listen to the album with friends. The whole team can see the following and add songs to the shared line with synced playback and easy-to-use controls.
Share your screen
Share your screen with everyone on your FaceTime phone. Browse a list of flats, swipe to a photo album, or teach someone a new skill, every time you meet and chat.
Local sound
Each word sounds like it comes from where each person is placed on your screen, which helps the conversations flow naturally.
Grid view
The grid view shows the people on your FaceTime phone in tiles of the same size, so you can have better conversations with the larger group. The speaker is automatically turned on so you can always know who is speaking.
Microphone methods
Voice Isolation reduces background sound and puts your voice in the front and in the middle. If the music or sounds around you are as important as you say, Wide Spectrum leaves ambient sound unfiltered.
Invite anyone to FaceTime
You can now send friends and family the link to connect to FaceTime - even if they are using Windows or Android.1 It is also encrypted, so your call is as private and secure as any other FaceTime call.
Sign your status
Traveling is easy when others know you are busy. So if you use Focus, your status will be automatically displayed in Messages and other communication applications that you allow. And with messages that are really urgent, there is still a way for people to let you know
Match your devices with your attitude
Focus helps you stay in the moment when you need to focus or move away. Choose from the Focus options list or customize it to allow only the notifications you want - you can get the job done while you sin or enjoy a hassle-free dinner.
New Memoji
Now you can choose your Memoji outfits and present yourself with new stickers. Show off your look and style with multi-colored headbands. And customizable access now includes cochlear plants, oxygen tubes, and soft protective helmets.
Photo collections
Many photos in Messages now appear as a collage or a bunch of photos that you can swipe on. Tap to view them all as a grid or add a quick Tapback. And save them to your library with just a few taps.
Shared with you
Now the links, photos, and other content you shared in Messages have been added to the new Shared section in the corresponding app. You can even respond directly to a fun app - without going back to messages.

Your sharing is built on Photos, Safari, Apple News, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and the Apple TV app.
