Introduction To Seo. What is SEO.

Over the past few years, search engine optimization (SEO) has become more and more used, although it has been longer than most people think.  As new development tools are used to create more websites in Java, Flash and Images, it is important for search engines to have something readable.  If search engines cannot read the content, they will not be able to index it, and if your site is not indexed, it will not be found when people search for it on Google, Yahoo, MSN or anywhere else. This article describes what SEO is, how it works, and some unethical SEO methods you should avoid.

What is SEO?

SEO is a way of analyzing your site and modifying it so that search engines can easily read and index it.  SEO is about maintaining and creating websites that rank high on major search engines.

When people use a search engine, they usually do not see the first 20 or more results.  If you want to make money from your website, you need to rank in the top 20 of hundreds of websites.

How does SEO work?

Search engines maintain a large database of information from personal websites.  The results that most search engines collect are not listed on their end pages, but are taken into account when determining the ranking of those results.

It is important to encourage search engines to rank your website high, and this can be done through the keywords you use on your website and when submitting it.  If the keywords you use in your submission tool do not match the content on your site, you could endanger your ranking - make sure you have all the keywords you want to use on the website before submitting it.

Most websites do not focus on their topic, so keywords with 50 or more phrases per page are recommended.  By focusing on certain pages of your site in keywords, you will get higher marks in search engines.

Free search engines.

Major search engines on the Internet are still free, and using this free ad is not difficult - you can do it in less than an hour.

There are many companies that offer free SEO tools, or you can pay an expert to take care of it for you.  Surfing the internet will create all sorts of useful resources.

What is unethical SEO?

Unethical search engine optimization techniques are illegal, dishonest or taste bad.  You will be amazed at how many people use these methods.  Many of the so-called unethical SEOs were accepted until more and more people went and began to have a negative impact on the Internet as a whole.

Filling in the keywords means long lists of keywords on your site and nothing else.  Do not do that.  There are ways to put keywords and phrases on your site without the risk of being blocked.

If you select text on a page and find words in the same color as the background, you may have seen 'Invisible Text'.  This text is a list of keywords that are often placed in the hopes of deceiving search engine spiders while hiding words from viewers.  It is considered unethical, and you should not do it.

The portal page is a page that is not designed for real people to see - it is purely for search engines and spiders, trying to trick them into indexing the website at a high level.  This is a big no-no and should be avoided.

Even if unethical SEO is attractive and works, you should not do it - it will not only annoy users, but also likely to block you from search engines sooner or later.  Your site's search engine rankings are not at risk.  Use efficient SEO techniques to get your site ranked high and avoid anything that looks like unethical SEO.

SEO is a set of techniques used to attract visitors or prospective customers to your website, and the goal of the search engine is to deliver high quality content to Internet users.  Both of these motives are not in opposition, and you should do it if you do SEO.
