 There is no need for curing daily after the building is constructed, as the interlock block is well cured as soon as it is made. This compressed blocks are made with materials used for concrete like sand, cement, fly ash and hardening agents. 

Due to the high compression, the strength of the blocks are higher than the normal cement bricks. The cement used for this block is 53 grade. 

The excellent curing is given for 10 and more days by submerging the blocks in the water. Just spraying of water for curing will not be sufficient. The initial setting time is speed in this 53 grade cement. So at Gem Blocks the blocks brought for curing with in 10 hours from production. 

Interlocking bricks are an improved form of traditional clay bricks. Each brick is designed to seal itself to other surrounding bricks without the use of mortar. Automatic locking is achieved using the Shear key and the lock mechanism. Depending on the design, the shape of the shear key will vary and provide a complimentary lock on the opposite side of the brick. Load transfer is achieved by shear transfer and gravity. 

Interlock bricks are compacted and stabilized earth bricks, which contribute to the strength of the structure. They are not usually packed. Interlock bricks come in different sizes and locking systems depending on the supplier. 

Are Interlocking Bricks Safe? 

As mentioned, it is not safe to use them beyond three floors. Ideally, interlock bricks should not be used on structures with more than two stories.
