IISc Bangalore has stowed the primary situation in NIRF Rankings 2021 delivered for top colleges in India. Different colleges following IISc Bangalore in NIRF Ranking are Jawaharlal Nehru University at Rank 2, Banaras Hindu University at Rank 3, Calcutta University at Rank 4, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore University at Rank 5.

7) Manipal Academy of Higher Education-Manipal (NIRF Rank 7)

The University is semi-residential and has Jadavpur (spread over 58 acres) and Salt Lake (spread across 26 acres). Major disciplines in which Jadavpur University offers courses to students are Humanities, science, engineering, and technology. The Jadavpur University stood at Rank 8 under the University category in NIRF Ranking 2021 with a score of 60.33.

9) University of Hyderabad (UoH), Hyderabad (NIRF Rank 9)

Aligarh Muslim University, popularly known as AMU, was established in 1920 after evolving out of the Mohammedan Anglo-Oriental College (MAO College) incepted in 1875. It is a public university located in Aligarh, UP, India. AMU was established by the great social reformer Sir Syed Ahmad khan. The University is open to all, irrespective of religion, caste, gender, and creed. AMU has 13 faculties, and under every faculty, a separate department of study is formed. AMU stood at 10th position under the University category of NIRF Rankings 2021 with a score of 58.97.
