Huawei ranked Apple second in global smartphone sales in 2019, However, as it continued, US-imposed sanctions were lifted and the company has been under siege ever since. Non-stop parade up.
Huawei was re-listed on the US Entity in 2019, effectively banning trade between Huawei and any US company. This led Google to close business with Huawei, the first handsets that did not come with Google Mobile Services (aka GMS).
Sadly, with changes in the Biden administration, we'll never see this change it's already related to the P40 series, the Mate 40 series, the Mate X2 foldable, as well as the long-overdue P50 series. All are capable of the lack of Google Play is a deal-breaker for many in Western markets.
Huawei offers its alternative store - App Gallery, but it's less than Google's offers. We like the P30 Pro. The design is still top-drawer elements, the performance is great the cameras can still deliver today.
Prices have dropped since its launch in early 2019 and are of great value compared to many rival flagships.
If you are looking to spend less (and get a little cheaper), the Huawei P30 is also something to consider.
Note that the P30 series was announced before Huawei was placed on the US trade blacklist and Google announced its decision to withdraw support; Therefore, it has full access to Google apps, services, and security updates and is the last great Huawei phone to receive our recommendation for a wide range of users.

The Mate 20 Pro is a great phone, and it looks even better at current discounted prices.
The cameras are a highlight for most, but it's a great all-rounder with a high-quality screen, fast charging, wireless charging, and excellent battery life.
Like all entries that have Google App support, it's growing a bit.
