Since June 2007, the film "ZEITGEIST" has been moving the Internet. As of December 2007, ZEITGEIST already had more than 6 million views, making it one of the most popular online videos of all time. In fact, the Google ZEITGEIST video was not. 1 video for the months of November and December 2007 and nothing seems to be stopping it. The film's creator, Peter Joseph, reported approximately 40,000 to 60,000 hits per day to his website ZEITGEISTmovie.com! In November 2007, ZEITGEIST was also awarded "Best Feature Film" at the prestigious Artivists Film Festival at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. As one of the sources for the 1st part of ZEITGEIST, I was present as a keynote panel speaker who addressed about 650 people who shared an amazing evening. Peter and I also made several radio shows on the topics raised in ZEITGEIST, with me specializing in Part 1. The film narration was also translated into many languages, including German. ZEITGEIST is truly a global phenomenon! What is so special about ZEITGEIST that it attracts so much attention? Firstly, the film is shot in a very impressive way – and secondly, its message is controversial to say the least! Since my work inspired part of Part 1, I can only discuss as an expert the part that deals with religious conspiracy. Part 1 actually argues that our modern religions, including and especially Christianity, are not "original" or "new revelation" but reworkings of ancient beliefs, especially Egyptian. In my books "The Christ Conspiracy" and "Suns of God" I have tried to demonstrate this fact by combining over 1000 pages of fascinating research into the true meaning of religion. Due to the intense controversy surrounding ZEITGEIST, with forums all over the internet engaged in heated debates about the film, I have now completed an e-book specifically looking at some comparisons between the Egyptian religion and Christianity. This new e-book is called "The Companion Guide to ZEITGEIST, Part 1" and scientifically examines the alleged parallels between the Egyptian god Horus and the Jewish godman Jesus, including whether or not Horus was born on December 25th of a "virgin." among other important claims made in ZEITGEIST. The research on this topic was so rich that I wasn't able to fit it all into the e-book. However, in almost 50 pages, I managed to point out these important issues, including ancient sources in their original languages, with translations! Both the creator of ZEITGEIST and I strongly believe that this information is extremely important these days. and age, in order to further cultural understanding and bring greater peace to the planet, as well as providing insight into the workings of a social elite that may not have the best interests of the common man in mind.
