In which way you lose weight:
Obesity is a very common problem worldwide which has become one of the most serious problems in our country. The numbers of obese people in Britain rose by more than 19% between 1975 and 2015, according to figures from the Office for National Statistics. As one of the world’s largest economies, we have found ourselves increasingly aware of the scale of this problem and its impact on many millions, as well as the number of people living with it. There are many causes of obesity, such as poor dietary habits and sedentary lifestyles. And while some of these factors can be addressed, it is important that everyone – regardless of age – does their bit, and, whenever they are tempted to get up and exercise more, take responsibility, and change their lifestyle. We all have a role to play – you don’t need a gym bag – but some simple changes will make a big difference:
1:
Eat better. When you eat a balanced diet, you are less likely to feel hungry in order to keep hunger pangs at bay. This helps to prevent overeating so that you maintain control over your body, reducing cravings and keeping you feeling full. It also means that you needn’t worry about ‘going under 200lbs in no time,’ as you won’t feel that way and if you do then you will lose weight quickly.
2:
Don’overeat-eat. If you feel like you’re getting too many calories into your system, try limiting your intake. For example, try eating half your plate’s worth of vegetables every day.
3:
Try to avoid sugary beverages, high fructose corners and pastas. These foods are high in sugar and other unhealthy fats and do no good for your health, especially in terms of keeping you feeling full. They can lead to weight gain, due to an increase in appetite.
4:
Cut down on processed meats, especially those containing nitrate or ammonia. Although they are often advertised as low in fat, too much processing can leave you having an unnatural appearance and causing bloating and abdominal pain when you do have the occasional hangover.
5:
Drink plenty of water, which keeps your body hydrated throughout the day, as well as helping to regulate your digestion for hours at night.
6:
Lose the pounds – fast! Start losing weight at any age and fitness level. But there are two main challenges you need to overcome before we can start changing things for the better: motivation and patience.
7:
You can only lose 1st-8lb, depending on how hard you work and your effort – if you lose 10lb within the first year you have nothing more to lose. To keep off unwanted weight, we recommend focusing on what our research shows to be effective: slow weight loss programs – just like ‘gradual weight loss programmes’ – or intermittent fad diets. Some people find success through ‘primal dieters,' who combine cutting down on food and increasing protein. Others find it easier to manage their intake by restricting portions, avoiding sugars and trans fats, following a strict calorie deficit and aiming for more frequent meal times.
By me:
It takes some time. Just because you try something doesn’t mean you won’t fail to stick to it in the long run: even when you lose weight; it is essential that at least one thing remains unachieved – for example, a healthy gut. The idea that just losing weight will give you all the benefits your body craves. So once you have given yourself a couple of weeks to think about everything around them, it is advisable to focus firmly on the next step – making the change.
