How you can Weight Loss.

It has been an extremely long time since I have lost any significant amount of weight, and it seems that the longer I've been without some sort of activity, the harder it has been to maintain my weight loss, but, I believe it is not impossible, with a bit of effort and by following some of these simple rules:

No eating before bed - this will ensure your body will burn fat at night, as well as making sure you are full long after you eat, which will keep you feeling hungry in the wake of sleep. No more than two meals per day - if you're exercising regularly and doing aerobic exercise, eating two or more meals each day won't cause you too much food cravings. If you don't find a healthy balance between the two, stick to one meal per day.

Always eat first thing in the morning and last thing at night. You can also try intermittent fasting, which is when you skip breakfast for one day or eat from 8pm (when you want to eat) to 6pm (when you want to be inactive). Try small portions, enjoy the taste. Do regular self-check-ups on yourself as often as possible to make sure everything is working properly.

Never forget that when we do try something new, we must first learn how to live with it - what if I cannot maintain my diet?

So if you're wanting to lose weight in your 40s or 50s, I hope you give the above tips a go and see what changes you notice in the way you feel and function.

What I Like About It.

Your mind can run wild during times of stress and boredom, and you've got absolutely no idea why. I know I've had moments where I've wanted to get hit by a bus, and I've had moments where I've felt like falling over a cliff at high speed and getting dragged down under my feet.

The thought of it makes my heart jump at me and all I can think is 'how could this happen to me?' In fact, whenever I'm stressed or out of breath, I tend to say to myself something like "I really need to go back to school." But then, I never actually do, because I'm scared, and I know I'll never achieve anything like that again and there are many other things that need to be done.

When I am stressed, I always ask myself, 'why am I stressing?' and try to figure out why that feels so good and why I feel so upset about things happening to me. It gets better and better as you get older.

As I write this, I'm having a conversation with a friend who has just told her partner 'we both know' she's due to become pregnant. That girl's already had pregnancy before; she's lived through two abortions and three miscarriages.

And if she gets pregnant for a third time, she might be even less comfortable about it. So why does she think it is easier to stay with her boyfriend? She knows she has to continue with giving birth and having kids. But in truth, most people would rather have another baby and still be able to have their kids, but when they do, a huge part of them is their own happiness - not the other way around.

So I have learned to let my feelings take control and try not to compare myself to others. Now I have a lot more confidence in my decisions and choices. Even though I'm very happy for someone else to decide for themselves, I'd much prefer to make those own choices, because I know that when I'm older I will have a much better understanding of my needs.

All in all, my best wishes to you.
