the health of a human?

I was raised in a loving family, with both parents being doctors. My brother and sister also studied medicine, but my mom worked part-time as the medical director at an administrative office while she spent her free time teaching me how to be better on exams and reading articles about health issues because I had no idea what they were. As it turned out, it wasn’t the best situation for me. When I was ten I started taking pills, which led to various illnesses that have left lasting effects to this day.

I think she had a point; that is why I took my first pill to see if it would help with my problems. At first, it worked really well. In fact, it helped greatly to relieve some of my symptoms and made my life easier. It soon became clear though that the only way to get rid of these issues was to get them under control. That’s exactly what I did.

At seventeen years old, after starting to take supplements to deal with all my weight-related symptoms, I went through quite a few different types of pills to treat my acne and migraines and all those things that people have never heard of until you’re twenty years old. By twenty-four months later I found myself back at square one! While it was a bit frustrating because I did want to do everything possible to get rid of my ailments (I mean they’re still there), it was very necessary to be able to live each day because without some medication in your system to manage your problems you could find yourself suffering from a host of illnesses just trying to survive.

My biggest problem isn’t that I can’t function like I used to. In fact, most people only have a handful of problems from what we’ve discussed, however, I am plagued by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which means that every single breath you took you had to work your lungs around the worst possible air intake and expel every breath so effectively that you would rather give up than breathe it all in.

I thought long and hard about what I would do to fix this issue but eventually came up with two solutions. The first thing you need to know is COPD doesn’t stop in adolescence. The second thing you need to know is that what will help you the most is just to change your lifestyle and get into the habit of exercising regularly. If I don’t get enough exercise I’ll suffer from depression and anxiety. Therefore, once again, what will solve my real problem? Getting healthier.

Then, I began searching for different kinds of pills to combat my coughing and wheezing, and other symptoms of a cold or allergy. Finally, after weeks of using some over-the-counter pills in addition to prescription antibiotics, I decided to give the third option a try. Unfortunately, I have yet to find anything else but corticosteroids at home and maybe some others when I have to leave home. No one has ever mentioned the dangers of steroids, and with their potential side effects, they don’t seem worth it. However, I can say that I have been very happy since I have been prescribed the steroid budesonide because I feel much better about my lungs and chest.
